In this edition we talk with all of our new basketball recruits and a few of our returning players. We had a chance to sit down and discuss individual training methods that might be a little different then we could ever imagine. I'm sure I don't have to remind you but what is said in the WAR CLOSET, stays in the WAR CLOSET.
We will start with a few of our returning players. Jack Salt spent the summer in London with the Royal Ballet and has become a very promising ballerina. His voice is a little higher as he had a time trying to find tights that fit. Jack feels that with a season under his belt and finally becoming acclimated to both UVA and USA that he will make some major strides in his game. We also had an opportunity to talk with Jerod Reuter who had a very interesting summer becoming a rising star in MMA. Jerod would like to play professional basketball but if for some reason he is unable to, he would join the MMA circuit full time. Marial Shayok went to Nevada to train chasing rabbits again, he says when his basketball career is over he would like to spend the rest of his life at a Bunny Ranch. Also had a chance to check in with Devon Hall who after graduating early is now looking at enrolling becoming a PHD. and the second coming of "Dr Dunk." Darius Thompson spent alot of his time at the gun range becoming a sharpshooter which should help him with his shot making. Look for him to "blow up" this coming season. We also checked in with London Parrantes who is in Hollywood California working on a movie. His hollywood swag makes him a natural and apparently they are doing a remake of "Grease" where London has the leading role. That's all from our returning players now on to our newbies! Talked to Mamadi who killed a lion this summer using only a fork! Apparently Mamadi went back home to fatten up and while he was eating a wild piglet a Lion actually tried to intervene but with Mamadi's great footwork he was able to not only escape but then jumped on the lions back and forked it to death. They say his reputation is of a real "motherforker".Kyle Guy spent alot of time with the Hungarian Olympic weight lifting team and has really bulked up nicely. Kyle Guy has been named the best basketball player in the world (pound for pound)! Jay Huff has been traveling throughout the country winning countless arm wrestling contests. He is undeafed in the flyweight division but is working on moving up in weight class. I don't know if I can disclose this or not but Ty Jerome has been in Houston working with NASA developing his new titanium hydralic hips. Apparently in testing he was able to have a 60" vertical jump and able to do the "Twist" for 5 hours straight. De Andre Hunter was at his Harp lessons and was unavailable at this time, we will catch up with him and Austin Nichols and the rest of the team in the next WAR CLOSET.
