Just a trend I'm seeing lately. A lot of people posted that our basketball team will probably be a five or six seed nobody wants to play next year, but almost all of the way too early preseason top twenty articles have us in the top ten.
People have been saying we've got little chances of making the postseason in baseball this year, but I just saw a bracketology that had us as a 3 in the Hattiesburg regional.
Why have we flipped and the media now has more faith in us than we do? Is it just being too close to the situation and being too concerned with personnel losses (in the case of basketball) or less than stellar play (in baseball)?
