FSU won 12 - 10. They had 8 hits, 4 of which were home runs, and 12 walks. UVA had 9 hits and 9 walks. The pitchers and the home plate umpire combined for 21 walks. The difference in the game was when our pitchers got behind, FSU took the ball deep. At least 8 of their runs were the result of their 4 home runs. Jones had a no-hitter for 4 innings, but then loaded the bases on two walks and a single before giving up a grand slam in the 5th. We went through 7 relief pitchers and only Casey was remotely successful. We went ahead in the bottom of the 8th 10 - 9 and took Casey out and brought in Sborz to pitch the 9th. He gave up a walk to the first batter and then 2 home runs which led to the final score.
