UVA outhit Cornell 11 - 5 but was behind 2 - 0 going into the bottom of the 8th. UVA scored 4 runs capped off by a 2 RBI single by Lowry. After an error, Sborz gave up a 2 run home run which tied up the game at 4 - 4. UVA loaded the bases in the bottom of the 9th. With no outs, Hasely hit a SF to plate the winning run. Waddell gave up 1 run in 4 innings. Roberts pitched the next 4 innings and also gave up 1 run. Sborz pitched the 9th and was the winner. Smith was 4 for 4 for UVA and now has a hit in all games this year.
