Grad transfer DE Kam Butler has announced his commitment to UVA. The Hoos offered shortly after Butler entered the portal late last month, and he visited the following weekend.
Butler was a a three-time All-MAC D-lineman for Miami (OH), including a first-team selection this fall. Butler finished the season with 53 tackles, with a team-high 14 for a loss including 8 sacks. He also forced 3 fumbles and picked off a pass.
Butler has two years of eligibility remaining. He joins Jack Camper and Paul Akere as grad transfer pass rushers to join the UVA program since mid-January.
