I always get shot down on this one, but it is time for Williford to flex some of that Richmond muscle that he supposedly possesses. Invariably, the response is that in-state recruiting just does not matter in basketball. But when you identify a Virginia kid as a target, you’d like to think that having a coach from that kid’s city would help. Thus far, Williford has struck out on the Richmond kids we have wanted. Time to change that.
