Had a chance to calm down and reflect; Colandrea has some fight and Moxy despite three INTs, hope we can keep him after this year

I really like this young man's fight and moxy, He is like the old school QBs that get mad at themselves for making mistakes and that's the type guy you want.

I hope as he moves forward and continues games of 373, and 260 yards a game we don't lose him in the portal once he realizes he can play for other teams with better lines and more targets.

It will be paramount that Elliott brings in better O line guys and not hang onto guys that don't get better if he plans on retaining or getting quality QBs or RBs.

Extremely disappointed in this coaching staff that can't coach or keep players up and focused for more that two Qtrs in a game.

The Defensive mental lapses of guys standing and not being active when the QB is stumbling trying to reach the first down marker on the sidelines to not go up and knock him out of bounds; assuming he is not going to make it to get lucky reaching back after he is out of bounds and gets the gift. Lose balls on the turf, NONE of our guys know how to pounce on the ball when it's rolling around. Happen this game and last game with O linemen just standing over the ball assuming the ball was dead. We got lucky on that obvious fumble.

Not going to ramble further, but it's tough being a UVA fan and see the boat going toward the waterfalls and not having any control on obvious missteps and repeat mistakes you would think the coaching staff would have learned.

If there is one piece of advice from an old school guy with a house full of 1st, 2nd place team and tourney trophies and MVP trophies from several sports. You should never sit on a ball in the end of the first half regardless how safe it makes you feel. It destroys momentum and energizes your opponent for the opening second half.
