After a whirlwind of recruiting by the new coaching staff in recent weeks, UVa will officially add to its 2022 class with today’s Signing Day.
Virginia signed 10 players in December: nine 2022 recruits and Wisconsin transfer WR Devin Chandler. That initial group included just two defensive players, linebackers Stevie Bracey and Trey McDonald, and no offensive linemen. The Hoos have since addressed one of those issues in bulk, with six of the 2022 recruits who will sign today offensive linemen.
As players clear compliance, the official announcements from Virginia will be shared below. Also, Tony Elliott will address the media on Zoom at 11:30 to discuss the latest additions to the 2022 class. That will be recapped in a separate thread.
