We got a team full of players that have a problem with being smart on base running.
AGAIN, Oferrall runs on a Tappen ball hit down to short stop and he pulls an Anderson and starts to run home and the shortstop didn't throw to 1st and he was chased down for a KILLER out.
Tappen can't seem to hit anything these last three outings but chip little league shots to short, third and or second base for double play.
We had ONE freaking out and a man on third and CHOKE AGAIN! We are blowing opportunities, cause all of a sudden third base runners start channelling a 11 year kid on base in his first game type idiotic decisions. Had Farrell just stayed on base or close to force shortstop to throw to first he could have gotten home. Sad!
Need to change up batting order. Tappen needs to be moved out of that spot cause he is an out machine and double play out machine!
Now Cotier gets burned trying to come home and no one is talking up to him the ball is coming and get tagged out. Announcers said we've had several opportunities and came up empty.
Announcer just showed replay that Cotier slowed down when he got to third then sped up; had he kept up his speed instead of slowing down he would have been safe at home! No reason for him to stop or slow down and hesitate according to the announcers.
That's 3 blown opportunities in 3 innings. Come on guys, let's get focused.
