The win keeps Virginia in no less than third place tie in the ACC standings and helps with the metrics. Once again, Beekman (17), McKneely (14), and Groves (14) led the scoring for Virginia. Dunn (10) and Minor (9) were important in the Cavs 38 to 33 advantage on the boards. The rebounding made up for the advantage that Clemson had in trips to the foul line (21 - 13). Beekman had 4 of Virginia's 9 assists and all 3 of the team's steals.
