Auburn has the “Toughest Power 5 Schedule”. Personally, I think USCe and Texas A&M have it pretty tough as they both play the #1, #2, and #3 teams (Clemson, Bama, and UGa), not to mention some other tough SEC games.
Virgins Tech actually nabs TWO preseason awards, “Easiest Power 5 Schedule” and “Easiest Home Schedule”. This is probably a good idea for Justin’s job security. Bama gets an honorable mention for easiest home schedule.
BIG 10 gets the award for the most teams avoiding Power 5 opponents (or ND) out of conference. They are the conference that gripes so at the SEC and ACC for only playing eight conference games, saying that’s not fair. They need to shut up that talk if they’re going to have a joke three games OOC.
The ACC is the only conference where every team plays a Power 5 (or ND) OOC.
Ohio St gets easiest early schedule award.
Irish Byes... seven opponents have byes before they play the Irish. Also, UGA plays Ark St before ND, and UVA plays ODU before ND.
