Talking to Kyle Boone of CBS Sports, he had this to say about each UVA players’ draft status:
Jerome: “15-30 range. Jerome’s one of the best spot-up shooters in this draft. For teams looking for an immediate boost in that department, he’ll be enticing. I suspect he goes mid-to-late twenties. A team like OKC that needs to add a trusty shooter would find it hard to pass on him.”
Guy: "40-undrafted. Guy did well for his stock this week at the combine by doing what he does best: competing his booty off and shooting it well. As expected, he fared well in shooting drills, played hard in scrimmages and generally improved his overall standing. His athleticism is still a question, but if he can peel off screens and knock down shots at an efficient clip in the NBA some team may decide he’s worth a second-round shot. He’s helped by the fact that he’s a reliable ball-handler, so his upshot as a second-unit point guard gives him some added value.”
Hunter: “4-10. I think Hunter goes fourth to the Lakers. But LA could throw a wrench in this draft by packaging this pick in an Anthony Davis trade, or crazier, by drafting a guard like Darius Garland(which would likely signal Lonzo Ballbeing shipped out). If it’s LA, then *chefs kiss* love it. He’s a great 3-point shooter and versatile defender — exactly what the Lakers could use. If he doesn’t go at 4, 8 to the Hawks would be great, too. Scouts have raved about his potential to impact the game immediately, so wherever he goes, the consensus in Chicago is that he’ll be great.”
