Big congratulations to Kody for signing a deal with the Brisbane Bullets and reuniting with Jack Salt as a former UVA teammate. Kody is from the Queensland Territory, so I know his family has to be happy.
I'm stoked because when we do loop trips to Australia and or New Zealand, we usually stay a few weeks in Brisbane, a Month or so in Sydney, a week in Melbourne, Adelaide and onward for a three week stay in Auckland, NewTown and ChristChurch.
We haven't been back since our planned loop trip in March/April/May 2020 when we had to cancel due to Covid Lockdowns. We had just got our retirement visas for Australia when they locked down. The good news is they extended me out for the 4 years I can stay at a time with the Aussie Visa, to start when I come back maybe this up coming year 2023 Mar/April/May.
I checked from the hotels we usually stay at on the Brisbane River and it's within 12 minutes walking across the pedestrian bridge right to the front doorstep of the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre where they play.
Looking forward to sporting a UVA Jersey of Salt's (my old basketball number) and checking out a few games in March and April on a stop over.
