I am thrilled that Diakite is returning. From the time that he announced his intention to test the NBA waters, I posted that the best thing for him and the team was for him to return. I do have one concern. This past season there were a number of occasions when Diakite became visibly upset when he failed to get a call from the officials or a teammate failed to slide when he went to double team an opponent. Both of these are more likely to happen this year. Last year either Guy or Jerome would immediately put their arm around his shoulder and whisper sweet nothings in his ear, and Diakite appeared to immediately calm down. This year Diakite will have to take on the additional responsibility of keeping himself calm regardless of the circumstances.
