claiming we would be in the NIT or struggle to finish .500 in the ACC, I present the evidence I was trying to cite earlier in the week. After everyone has now played two games in the league (except Duke and Miami), the league's KenPom numbers continue to drop, while we held steady at 10. Even without Key tonight. Heck, UNC went up from 24 to 22 after tonight.

Only five ACC teams among the top 25 in KP, but much more importantly only six top 50. The league is very down this year. Our hopefully "down" year will be masked by the league's weakness.

Not sure we get a double bye, as has generally been assumed the last few years. But I don't see us slipping past 6 or so in the league. Not saying UNC will finish in the top six either or that tonight's win was anything special in the grand scheme of things, but we will probably win a few ugly ones this year to go something on the order of 13-7ish.
