Frustrating weekend in regards to sports teams.
First, the Redskins had a chance to win and just choke in OT to NY Giants.
So the ENTIRE secondary will have to be cut loose in the off season, just garbage and embarrassing that simple assignments on coverage leave wide open WR/TEs open by a country mile. The O line is trash and and would cut just about everyone of those players.
Coaching staff has to be replaced; no way they keep any of Jay Gruden's people; they have a loser mentality.
Winning mentality vs loser mentality:
Winning mentality/Philosophy:
Baltimore Ravens down the street had ZERO time outs with about 30+ seconds in the half and they had about 5 quick strikes including a TD Strike to the TE from 20+ yards out with 11 seconds left in half to score AGAIN.
Losing mentality/philosophy:
Washington Redskins has 30+seconds with 2 time outs and don't use the time out, down by 2 TDs and let's the clock run out and tucks and runs to the lock room before the half. Didn't attempt to try anything with two timeouts clearly shows you are a big PUSS.
Lastly, we had a shot to win in Basketball this after noon and we did not play soundly the last 4+minutes with big time unforced turnovers, lack of shots and lack of defensive intensity.
Good news is I'm looking forward to next season for the Redskins in hope they get a REAL coach, flush most of the inept players and bring in a major upgrade group in Free agency/Draft selections.
Please bring in a coach that won't roll over or take a knee, especially when you are two TD behind at half with two time outs.
Looking forward also next season for the newly arrivals and Hauser to the team to get the next 2.0 reboot of Hunter, Jerome, Guy in JAR, Beekman, McCorkle, and Hauser.
In the mean time I will just try to enjoy this season regardless how painful it is to watch what we were last year to this year's production.
