Glad we won, but how many unforced turn overs did we give them today not paying attention and players sneaking up behind and picking players for fast break points.

That last throw in from Clark from outbounds along side the basket, out to the 3pt line to Noyan was almost a disaster cause Noyan ran back, miss timed her jump and was coming down at the peak of her jump losing her balance and tipped the ball that a Syracuse player ran up and tipped it away and Noyan reached for the ball and made contact and the girl stumbled as the buzzer went off. They could have called it a foul so we dodged that one.

So Noyan continues game after game now throwing the ball to the other team. To day she had several and one she even put her hand over her mouth she was so embarrassed that she threw it right to a Syracuse girl in the numbers instead of Latimore, who she intended to throw to but Latimore had two girls standing right in front.

Clark, McGhee and Hurd need to learn to stay with their offensive player on defense and quit running off on to a female already covered or doubled team. We got burned badly on them leaving their man wide open for easy open threes, along with pedestrian watching their man on a half attempt to get around a screen and then watch the girl drive in for an uncontested layup.

Now I know I will hear from some, but say what you want, when Casey Valenti-Paea #10 the Aussie girl came in she stuck to her defensive assignment like glue and stayed in front and wouldn't let the same girl that was bombing on Clark and McGhee get off a shot. If people are honest and saw the game they will agree.

Casey also saved a half dozen balls her teammates either lost/mishandled going out of bounds by running and hustling/diving out of bounds and throwing it back in play or chasing it down before a defender got to it. When Mox sat her down the last 1:50 seconds and Brought McGhee and Clark in I was saying, "What is she doing?!??!?!" Does she want Syracuse to have open three looks and actually they did get the looks and bricked them so we dodged a big one.LOL

I personally would have kept in the defender that didn't allow the player to get off shots.

Thoughts anyone.
