How great it is to have 3 big men... and 3 who each bring different skills/strengths to the lineup! I remember years ago that it seemed we often fielded teams with only one legitimate “big” and beyond that we were often found to be playing small lineups... 6’ 7” or 6’ 8” bigs. (Like Dan Merrifield or Matt Blundin and many others through the years.) However, that said, it often seems that we don’t use the size to our advantage... or often enough to our advantage. When there were switches last night against Florida State, again and again Huff had a “sizable” advantage over his defender and we couldn’t or wouldn’t get the ball to him. I DO realize that our bigs do block and influence some shots... and that Papi hands out bruises!
