Virginia lands their second big man of the week, signing Kansas State center Ugonna Onyenso. Onyenso comes to UVa with one year remaining, after two years at Kentucky followed by one at K-State. The 7-footer was the #37 player in the nation in the 2023 class. Onyenso had his best season in 2023-24 with Kentucky, scoring 3.6 points and grabbing 4.8 rebounds per game with 14 starts, and averaging 2.8 blocks per game. He took on a smaller role at K-State this year, playing just 11.1 minutes per game with two starts. Onyenso averaged 2.8 points, 2.4 rebounds and 0.9 blocks per game with K-State.
