Another lesson from the GOAT. K has won more games for a reason. He knows his kids and talent and can make adjustments against teams that put his kids in a position to win, while CTB often is so loyal/ stubborn that he just doesn't make adjustments as quickly and effectively as K. Saw this against UMBC, against Cuse in the regional final- critical game situations where we could not alter the model and sank with the ship. Bottom line is K know he did not have Jones and made adjustments against a D he knows as well as anyone.
CTB is like Vince Lombardi- practice and execute your game and screw what the opponent is doing. CTB does the same thing, but there are times where adjustments must be made.
WTS think tonight was extremely valuable for CTB and this team. Huff will play more. We will play with a greater sense of urgency when necessary, lineup changes will be quicker. This team will be better by March
