We’re at the halfway point of the season, granted some schools have only played one ACC game, but for fun here’s the all-conference preseason picks.
UVA deserves some spots on offense. I’d replace Howell with Armstrong and Ross with Woods. Thompson deserves a spot too. I’m on the fence about Woods because no other TE jumps out at me.
I’d drop Flowers and replace him with Downs at UNC. Drop Knight at NC State and replace him with Sean Tucker at Syracuse. Actually, on the offense you can drop everyone from Clemson ;-)
On defense Nick Jackson hasn’t earned a spot (no one on UVA has). Jermaine Johnson at FSU should be up there and in the secondary Jermaine Waller from the Hokies should be too.
