Had Becker just stayed on First, he scores on Arroyo's deep hit up in the far corner over at 1st base. Too impatient.
Hanson has to do a better job being ready and willing to dive for balls going by him over at Third. Even the announcer was critical of his lack of effort on several hit by him. Can't stand flat footed, completely upright.
He needs to be in a rocking and crouched position on balls being hit toward third. Very slow to react and all year he never seems to press and dive for close balls on the ground going to the outfield.
As a diehard UVA fan, I'm pissed we threw this game away. This was not hard. Once we got people on base don't try to get cute and have be half heartedly on a steal attempt. This is against VT. PLEASE PLAY SMART!
