Two years ago Wilkins and Devon were the glue. This past year Ty and Kyle were “coaching” on the floor during games, as needed, and Jack had 5 years with the program. Despite the good talent returning and promising newcomers, the biggest hole will be in established leadership. Clark is a very capable point guard, running the offense, but still “new.” MD really came on strong the last month of the title run, and is really athletic and promising, but still “new to the game” and will need to be coached much, himself. Key is a genuine 4th year player, but still with only one year in our program and in our system.
It will be real interesting to see who Coach Bennett looks to and the other players respond to.
