Bad -1) The umpire was pathetic. I would not allow him to call balls and strikes in a Tball game. 2) Dowling's flip in the end zone after his second TD catch. 3) Our special team's defense on the kickoff after our last TD.
Good - 1) Ellis ran hard even when he did not have a hole. He ended up with 25 attempts for 96 yards for a 3.8 average. 2) Benkert overcame a poor first half and completed several key passes in the second half. 3) Coleman reversed field position with several booming punts. He punted 8 times for 406 yards and a 50.8 average. 4) Our defense was very good. Kiser had 10 tackles including a sack, and Peace played well with 6 tackles and a sack late in the 4th quarter. 5) Dowling apologized to the team after game for his flip. This is the display of character that I appreciate from our athletes.
