For the first time this year, there is no in spite of and there are several because of reasons. They are 1) BC is not a good team. 2) Virginia shot well from behind the line, and BC did not. The Hoos made 11 of 20 attempts (55%), and BC made 4 of 15 (26.7%). 3) McKneely found his shooting touch; he led the team in scoring with 21 points including 6 of 9 from deep. 4) Virginia outrebounded BC 30 to 23 and had 7 offensive rebounds which led to a 12 to 4 advantage in second chance points. 5) On defense the Hoos had 10 steals and 3 blocks. 6) Ten players got meaningful playing time
