The dichotomy of the basketball transfer portal

For the past few days I have been exploring basketball portal posts and have noticed the following - many schools have a need for one or more big men (centers and power forwards), and the lists of players in the transfer portal are almost entirely devoid of big men but are loaded with guards and wings. The few that are available, such as Andrej Stojakovic, are expected to choose a blue blood or green money program. It appears that most teams will have to attract foreign players or find a rough diamond.
