As usual, the primary negative was the turnovers by the women. We had 17 assists and 20 turnovers, but Wake only scored 10 points on our turnovers while Virginia scored 14 points on 15 Wake turnovers. The positives were both our shooting and rebounding. The Hoos made 14 of 27 2-pointers (52%), 10 of 25 3-pinters (40 %), and 11 of 13 foul shots (84.6%). Our women outrebounded Wake 41 to 30. Virginia had three players score in double figures and were led with 16 by Johnson. Two other players each had 9 points.
