Kevin Wigenton, a transfer OG from Illinois, has announced his commitment to UVa.
The 6’5 330 pound guard out of New Jersey started his career at Michigan State. He redshirted in 2021, before playing as a backup mainly in 2022. He played in all 12 games in 2023 at MSU, starting six. He was all academic B1G both years.
This year at Illinois he was a backup guard and center on a very experienced line. Wigenton has one year remaining and will enroll for this semester.
While he had an under the radar recruitment in the portal this year, during his recruitment last year he had offers from almost a dozen P4 programs in B1G, SEC, ACC.
