Just hours after winning the national title with the Buckeyes, Ohio State edge rusher/LB Mitchell Melton is signing with Virginia. Melton has been in the portal for some time but finished the season with the Buckeyes. The former Good Counsel product has had some injury issues in his Ohio State career and has been a backup defender who has seen playing time. Melton had 12 tackles and two sacks this year for OSU, and has one year of eligibility remaining.
