UVa landed their first commitment out of the dead period this evening, with UC Irvine forward Devin Tillis choosing Virginia. Tillis entered the portal this week after finishing up in the NIT.
Tillis, an LA native, is a smaller forward who can stretch the floor and has been a solid rebounder. Tillis scored 13.7 points per game this year with the Anteaters, and grabbed 7.8 boards per game.
