We were so close of winning this one but we had ridiculous turnovers in the forth and NON SHOOTERS need to not be shooting deep balls in the close closing minutes. Johnson and Latimore should have been the two taking shots.
Also McGhee is 6'2" and she is a terrible defender. She constantly drifts off her ball handler for some crazy reason to run over toward an already guarded player and leaving her assignment wide open at the three and was burned numerous times. Also why is she throwing in the ball????? She has thrown away several this year in critical spots in the game. She would be the last person I would have to throw in on the last shot opportunity. That throw as awful at best. I don't blame her completely cause the whole damn team were standing around and not coming for the ball or getting open, but you can't just half throw it up to be easily picked by two defenders.
This team could be good, but several players go from playing well or good to total brain farting it on turnovers, bad, and I mean really bad passes right to the other team down the stretch. This seems to happen especially at the end of games and in close games.
Really thought we would pull off another win on a ranked team, but McGhee just doesn't know how to stay with her assignment like she has ADHD and continues to have this urge to run toward her teammates assignment and leave a 5'8", 5'9" guard that is a sharp shooter at the 3 wide open. Also why on a made shot are our team dragging feet to get down to defend and constantly having opponents just run down wide open on layups? Unbelievable.
Lastly, the zebras sucked in this game. Kept calling charging when you could clearly see Paris Clark had beaten and this girl is running along side and gets one foot in front and then flops.
