Virginia's 7th inning rally breaks open a tight game for a 12-4 win over FSU

Virginia had a 4-3 win over the Seminoles going into the bottom of the seventh. After the first 2 hitters were out, the Cavs had consecutive batters reach base on 5 walks, 2 hit batters, and two hits to plate 6 runs and extend the lead to 10-3. A 3 RBI double by Didawick was the big blow. Virginia added 2 more runs on 3 singles in the 8th. Virginia was led at the plate by Teel and Godbout who were both 3 for 4 . Virginia had opportunities to score more runs early but had 2 baserunners thrown out at 3rd and 1 at home.
Edgington started and pitched 5 innings; he had a 3-2 lead when he left the game, but FSU tied the score at 3 in the top of the 6th when Jaxel gave up a solo home run. Berry pitched 3 up - 3 down innings in the 7th and 8th innings, and Buchanan gave u a solo home run in the 9th. FSU scored 4 runs on 7 hits, and Virginia had 12 runs on 12 hits.
