Went back to watch the UVA vs Duke come from behind last second shot by Beekman to lift us over Duke. That clock run down by Clark to draw players toward him and to send it to Beekman over in the corner for the last shot was a thing of beauty.
After going back and watching the game I was amazed how composed we were in this game give the crowd noise and the zebras allowing Duke players to play aggressive.
Right out of the gate you can see Franklin fouled on the back door first 2 pts and no call and various other fouls Duke had that got zero whistles.
Beekman knocked to the floor on a layup early also was outrageous on the no call. The still shot on this video below speaks volumes on the arm bars and body contact Duke was making on our guys. Figured out how Duke gets away with arm bars with holding the bent wrist and stiff extended hand look, while they use their elbows and forearm to lean across the dribblers free hand and arm.LOL
Throw in Euro steps some of their players took, along with feet shuffling Duke can be seen backing in, spinning and stepping around our players. Just amazing we won this game and stayed focused. One of our best games against Duke over the years given out talent level and lack of rotating players.
