They lived up in a big way, winning the Inverness Intercollegiate over several other top-5 and top-25 teams (NBC Golf poll), including:

#1 Auburn (who beat the Hoos in NCAA's)
#3 Oklahoma
#4 Texas Tech
#6 Vanderbilt
