This is kinda fun. Apologies if this has been discussed earlier in the season - if it was I didn’t pay it much attention then but feel now halfway thru ACC play it’s a little more relevant. You could dissect/compare this lots of ways and could have some fun discussions.
Here’s roughly how the current team compares to the 2019 pieces:

McNeely & Franklin/Guy
Clark/Clark
Dunn/Hunter
Shedrick/Diakite

Vander Plas/Huff
Cafaro/Salt
Hard to believe but this year’s team actually has one more piece/an extra contributor in the rotation vs. title team. Huff played a bit more down stretch of regular season in 2019 but he got very little PT in NCAA run. 2019 maybe had a little more seasoned experience but the current group is a nice blend of experience and talented youth. I could type forever getting into the fun weeds of this.
