Updated following November 9th action:

Virginia (5-2)

Coastal Record: 4-1
Holds Tiebreaker Over: Duke, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Pittsburgh
Remaining Schedule: (BYE), (Liberty), Virginia Tech
Status: Controls Destiny
Virginia beat Georgia Tech on Saturday, meaning they are one conference win away from a division title with one game to play (VT). After this week's results, it's looking more and more likely that the Hoos will need that win to get the Coastal, as Miami and VT weren't cooperative and didn't give the Cavaliers the help they would need to clinch early. There is no scenario at this point where UVa would have the Coastal wrapped up before that Black Friday game, though there is a scenario where they could clinch the following day, with help. With one ACC game left, UVa still has the clearest path to the title heading into their second open date of the year.

Virginia Tech (3-2)
Coastal Record:
2-1
Holds Tiebreaker Over: Miami, North Carolina
Remaining Schedule: at Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh, at Virginia
Status: Controls Destiny
The Hokies are the other team that controls their own destiny in the Coastal race, but they have played two fewer conference games than Virginia at this point. Tech seems to have turned a corner after making their QB change, and have lost just once since that embarrassing blowout loss to Duke in September. The Hokies head to Atlanta on Saturday, before hosting Pitt the following week. Losses in both games would knock the Hokies out of the race, wins in both would set up a winner-take-all scenario in Charlottesville in the final game of the season. The game in two weeks against Pittsburgh could turn out to be an elimination game of sorts if both teams win out until then, but there's still a lot to sort out for both teams.
Elimination Scenario: None

Pittsburgh (3-2)
Coastal Record:
2-2
Holds Tiebreaker Over: Duke, Georgia Tech
Remaining Schedule: North Carolina, at Virginia Tech, Boston College
Status: Needs some help
The Panthers were off this weekend. Pitt doesn’t control their own destiny because of the Week 1 loss to UVa, but they are in a decent spot with 3 games left. With two big Coastal games coming up, Pitt needs to sweep both to really give themselves a fighting chance heading into the final weekend, and then they can root for Tech to win in Charlottesville. Thursday night's game against UNC has major implications for both teams, and a win keeps Pitt tied with UVa in the loss column before a trip to Blacksburg.
Elimination Scenario: Pitt loses to UNC AND VT loses to GT

Miami (4-3)
Coastal Record:
2-3
Holds Tiebreaker Over: Pittsburgh, Virginia
Remaining Schedule: (BYE), (FIU), at Duke
Status: Needs lots of help
Miami earned a big win over Louisville on Saturday, and like Virginia, have just one league game left. The bad news is that Miami may see their Coastal changes go out the window while they step away from league play for the next two weeks. A Hokies win would eliminate the Hurricanes from contention, so everyone in Coral Gables will be pulling hard for the Yellow Jackets on Saturday.
Elimination Scenario: VT beats GT

North Carolina (3-3)
Coastal Record:
3-2
Holds Tiebreaker Over: Duke, Georgia Tech, Miami
Remaining Schedule: at Pittsburgh, (Mercer), at NC State
Status: Needs lots of help
UNC has a remote chance to win the Coastal and need to win out and get a lot of help. A loss to Pitt on Thursday night would eliminate the Tar Heels from contention, as would a Hokies win in Atlanta. Thursday's game in the Steel City has major implications for the Panthers, so if nothing else, UNC can play the role of spoiler this week.
Elimination Scenarios: Pitt beats UNC or VT beats GT

Duke (2-3)
Coastal Record:
2-3
Holds Tiebreaker Over: Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech
Remaining Schedule: Syracuse, at Wake Forest, Miami
Status: Needs lots of help
Like Carolina, Duke's Coastal chances are remote. The Blue Devils play a pair of Atlantic Division teams in the next two weeks, and need to win both, as well as their regular season finale against Miami, to have any shot (assuming UVa doesn't beat VT the night before).
Elimination Scenarios: Syracuse beats Duke or Pitt beats UNC AND VT beats GT

ELIMINATED: Georgia Tech (1-5)
