Surprised we have held it together with the injured Key, and shooting woes this long.

What's bad is we could have won the South Carolina game and Clark, who had one of his worse outings single handedly threw this game away with 7 bad turnovers, mostly in the last 5 or 6 minutes when we were only down by 1 or 2.

Morsel still shooting extremely poorly; 2-6; one three and a layup

TW is either extremely slow or loafing on D. Had his man blow by him for easy layups or shots, that non box out on air ball awareness was awful; the player literally walked right passed him for easy reverse side layup on him. Didn't like TW on chasing or trailing the half court pick player; never sped up or attempted to elevate for a block and let the guy drive in unimpeded. TW is also bad on getting through picks/screens and is usually late out to the three line and the ball is usually on the way when he finally gets around a screen.

Huff continues to Jekyll and Hyde with great blocks, hustle one game and then disappears on D. He is boxed out, shoved around by smaller, lighter opponents and also on in the lane D, with opponents that are 3,5,7 inches shorter or worse a point guard that drives in the lane and head fakes, puts up an easy layup with Jay standing flat footed with a hand up but the ball goes right pass his elbow or forearm and by the time he reacts the ball is up on the glass in the square going in. Several times he sticks up his arm and it seems his reaction time is slow cause he swats at the ball; but it has already gone past his elbow or forearm and in. You can see his frustration on not reacting quick enough with that Head/Neck chiropractic click he does from side to side. He (Huff) had ZERO block shots and had 4 or 5 point blank range blocks had he reacted quicker and got up off the floor. Sticking up an extended stiff arm or hand is not going to block a shot if the guard or smaller player puts the ball up right past your arm and you do not react to swat it.

Clark, enough said. He worked well last year as a role player with Jerome and Guy but as the main guard this year he either is trying to hard, or he was actually playing above his ceiling last year.

Really think he is thinking and over thinking too much when he drives and dishes off that leads to unforced turnovers.

Key is just ineffective with that hand brace on right now. He and Stattmann really need to work on out of control drives in for layups that every team gets a charge on them.
