One recruiting service indicates that the Hoos are doing well with Virginia high school players. In the class of 2021, UVA has received commitments from #1 Woolfolk - OF, #6 Shoemaker -SS, #7 Buchanan - LHP, #8 Tuft - C, and #9 O'Ferrall - SS. In the class of 2022 Virginia has #1 Fink - RHP, #3 O'Connor - RHP, #5 Hanson - SS, and #7 Anderson C..
