UVa announces 2025 football schedule

The highlights:

-Opener vs Coastal Carolina on 8/30
-Two byes, the latter coming the week before the VT game (Tech plays Miami the week before)
-Home ACC opener vs Stanford on 9/20, FSU at home on a Friday night (9/26)
-South's Oldest Rivalry vs Bill Belichick on 10/25
-Road trip to Cal on November 1st

Transfer Commitment #19! UVa lands Notre Dame WR Jayden Thomas

UVa picked up a last-minute addition for the offense, with Notre Dame WR Jayden Thomas committing to the Hoos. Thomas had offers/interest from VT, Auburn, Duke and others, but went with UVa. Thomas played at Pace Academy in Atlanta for UVa DE's coach Chris Slade. Thomas had 64 catches and 7 touchdowns in his Irish career; This year he caughed 18 passes for 167 and 2 TDs. Many have speculated that he could also play TE, given his physical frame.
