The Cavs had 15 steals on defense and held State to 19 points in the first half. At first glance, it would appear that Virginia had little reason for concern, but there was a little devil in the details.
Virginia was 18 of 27 in foul shooting and made only 49.2% of their field goal attempts. The team had 19 assists but 20 turnovers.
