Virginia is hosting one of the top prospects from the recruiting class of 2025 today as the program showcases this season’s team in the annual Blue-White scrimmage (see related story for starting times of men’s and women’s scrimmages, autograph sessions) at John Paul Jones Arena.

Jacob Wilkins, the son of nine-time NBA All-Star Dominique Wilkins, will be in the house as Wahoo fans get a sneak peak at Tony Bennett’s new team. Wilkins is a 6-foot-8, 4-star forward from Lilburn, Ga., and is ranked the No. 16 overall prospect in the nation for ‘25.

Wilkins, who was offered by UVA in mid-July, also holds offers from Alabama, Georgia, Indiana and Cincinnati. His father was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006.

MSOC defeated #11 Pitt 2-1, and WSOC defeated our VT cousins 3-0. Lastly the men's golf team won the tournament in Georgia; they ended with a total of 839 while GT was second with 845.

Miami GT

Unbelievable #17 Miami loses at home to bad GT team who just got their butts kicked by Bowling Green at home last week. GT embarasses the ACC two weeks in a row. Anyways, maybe the dumbest coaching call ever. Miami had 3-point lead with 34 seconds left, and GT had no timeouts. All Miami had to do was take a knee to win game, instead Miami ran the ball and fumbled. Proceeded to give GT a TD to lose the game. Stupid, stupid, stupid coaching call by Miami.

Four-star F Keith talks family vibes, intense practice during UVa visit

Four-star wing Jackson Keith recaps his recent trip to UVa, as he tells @HoustonWilson about the family vibes and the intense practice that stood out to him during his time on Grounds.

Any chance TE is out after this season?

Getting fired after two years on the job obviously seldom happens but given how bad it has been, is that a realistic scenario? Given the lack of recruiting success, the on field performance, the questionable in game calls, etc., I am just not sure how any AD could see it turning around. Seems like a nice person who just isn’t ready for an HC job.

Four-star wing Ament talks recent trips to UVa, Duke

MY SEASON FOOTBALL TICKETS DECISION

I took a bunch of grief from a bunch of people on this board for ultimately deciding not to renew my season tickets this season, which I decided upon based on my lack of belief in the HC and particularly in the OC. Looks like a good and wise decision to me now. This is painful enough to watch on TV. I doubt I will renew next season either unless they get a new OC. I am convinced TE will go down with the ship tied to his OC with his hands behind his back and his blinders still on.
